The Brief

What the client needed

The client, Damian Rodriguez Munoz, owns the app and runs an in-house development team. They came to us after App Review had rejected the build.

  • Get a previously rejected iOS build through App Review and live on the App Store.
  • Deliver App Store Optimization for the listing: title, subtitle, keywords and description.
  • Set up a review account and demo video that satisfy Apple's reviewers.
  • Document every change made, so the in-house development team can carry it forward.
  • Give independent feedback on the app's UI.
How We Ran It

From a rejected build to a live listing.

A previously rejected app is a review problem, not just a code problem. We work the submission the way Apple's reviewers do.

    01

    Access & audit

Joined the client's Apple Developer account, reviewed the rejected submission and the current state in App Store Connect.

    02

    Guideline QA on device

Ran the full trial, Blood Rite, Mandatory Exile, Clan and authentication flows on device against the App Review Guidelines.

    03

Issue triage for the dev team

Wrote up each blocker with repro steps, screenshots and the exact time it occurred, and tracked fixes across new builds.

    04

    App Review assets

Recorded the reviewer demo video, prepared screenshots in the required sizes, and wrote the App Review notes and demo-account details.

    05

    ASO report

Delivered a written ASO report covering the app title, subtitle, promotional text, a full 100-character keyword set and a rewritten store description.

    06

    Submission & follow-through

Queued the correct build, submitted for review, requested an expedited review and monitored until the listing went live.

    07

    Handoff

Provided a summary of every change for the development team, plus notes on modernising the UI.

Pre-submission QA

Issues we caught before submission.

Each blocker was written up with repro steps, screenshots and the exact time it occurred, then tracked across new builds until it was fixed.

Authentication

The sign-in verification-code screen blocked Apple's review account. It expected an email OTP or two-step code the reviewer could not receive.

Flagged with repro steps and screenshots; the dev team shipped a review-account bypass in a new build.

Gated content

The Clan / Elite area was locked behind in-app level, points or payment, so App Review could not reach it.

Flagged as a rejection risk; a review-account bypass for the gated flow was added in a follow-up build.

Build management

Build numbers were not incremented between uploads, so test devices ran stale cached code instead of the new build.

Identified the pattern and requested clean, version-bumped rebuilds before each test pass.

In-app purchases

Subscription products existed in App Store Connect but were not wired into the app, and the EULA link and paid-app agreement were incomplete.

Documented an estimated 90% rejection risk before submission so the client could decide how to proceed.

Submission

An older build (1.0.27) was queued for review instead of the current build.

Caught before submission and corrected the build selection in App Store Connect.

Networking

A TLS / backend connection error appeared during device testing and looked like an app bug.

Diagnosed to a manually-set device clock rather than the app; cleared for submission after correcting the date and time.

About the app

GMC is not another fitness app.

It is a 30-day discipline challenge built around physical training, strict accountability, and consequences.

Every day matters. Complete the required training each day and continue the trial. Miss once and you fail. There are no retries, replacement days, or second chances.

The system does not motivate you. It does not celebrate you. It watches, records, and remembers.

THE 30-DAY TRIAL. Enter a structured challenge where consistency is the only way forward. Each completed day moves you closer to the end. One missed day ends the attempt, regardless of the reason.

BLOOD RITE. Before entering the full challenge, face Blood Rite, a preparation trial designed to test whether you are ready to commit.

MANDATORY EXILE. Failure sends you into Mandatory Exile. You must complete the required waiting period before becoming eligible to attempt the challenge again. Repeated failures result in longer exile periods, and your previous outcomes remain part of your trial history.

Complete all 30 days, and the system will record the anomaly. Fail, and accept the consequence.

Built for discipline

  • One uncompromising 30-day challenge
  • Daily physical training and progress tracking
  • Permanent challenge and failure history
  • Mandatory Exile with escalating durations
  • Blood Rite preparation trial
  • Offline-first training experience, no connection required
  • Event-based records that preserve your journey
  • Clean, focused interface without distractions
